Accessibility statement

MyDiro wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Built the site with semantic HTML and a logical heading structure.
• Ensured the site can be operated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Provided a “skip to content” link and clear, descriptive link text.
• Checked text and interface colours for contrast against WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Designed layouts that reflow and remain readable down to small screens and on zoom.
• Respected the “reduced motion” setting — the hero background animation is disabled for visitors who prefer reduced motion, and it is muted and decorative.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-off task. As we add content and features, we test them and fix issues we find. If any part of the site does not yet meet the standard, we treat that as a defect to correct.
